Sycada was a pioneer in making Internet available in cars, and together with BMW we developed the mobile service Parkinfo that allowed BMW 7-series drivers to access parking information via the i-Drive system in the car. The service is now available to all BMW drivers with an i-Drive interface.

PHYD & Green driving solutions

Green driving and Pay-How-You-Drive (PHYD) initiatives are here to stay, and Sycada helps facilitate them. We do this by interfacing with the engine system of the car via CANbus, ODB or via external sensors.
  • Depending on the chosen technology and the make and model of the vehicle we can extend GPS position data with:
  • Odometer readings for exact mileage registration
  • Fuel consumption (and CO-2 emissions)
  • Driver behaviour statistics (influencing fuel consumption)
    • Vehicle and engine speed profile
    • Acceleration and brake applications
    • Engine idle time
  • OEM fault codes
